









Generally, for the Breitensport as well as the Open tournament the dress regulations of the German TSO for D class couples (TSO F 8.1.1) in combination with the general principles of the IDSF dress regulations apply with the exceptions listed below.
Dress code
Dancers dancing an opposite gender role are allowed to dress either according to their gender or according to their role.
Mens dress: Single coloured long trousers, top with sleeves (chemise, shirt, polo). Waistcoats, pullovers or slipovers are allowed. Suits of any kind (trousers with jacket, coat, dinner jacket or spencer as well as swallowtail) are not allowed.
Ladys dress: Daily or training clothes. No tournament dress allowed.
The dancing clothes have to completely cover the intimate areas and backside of a dancer statically as well as in dynamic movement.
In case of any violation of custom and decency or violation of any dress regulation rules the tournament chairman can request the dancer to change clothes. The decision of the chairman is final and cannot be appealed. In case the dancer requested to change clothes does not follow the chairmans decision the couple will be disqualified and (if
applicable) evaluated with zero points for the Tanzmaus evaluation.
Shawls are allowed. If they look too much like tournament dress, the tournament office can demand a removal.

It is the teamcaptains responsibility to make sure that all dancers of his university / team comply with these dress regulations.
